Human Longevity Inc. Sees Early Success with Health Nucleus

Health Nucleus used data from Human Longevity Inc. in their clinic model. The model utilizes groundbreaking technology and medical experts to help patients achieve the longest, healthiest life possible. Human Longevity Inc, founded in 2013, first sought to harness the predictive capabilities of human genes. In 2016 the company pivoted to focus on other promising research. One of those avenues was a precision medicine clinic which would later become Health Nucleus. 

Health Nucleus aims to use gene sequencing data, blood biomarkers, and whole-body scans to identify health problems before they appear. In their early research, the Health Nucleus team discovered several previously unknown conditions among the research cohort, including brain aneurysms, cardiac abnormalities, hepatic issues, and metabolic problems. Physicians diagnosed none of these conditions before participating in the Health Nucleus research. 

A patient visiting Health Nucleus can expect a four to five-hour exam amassing a considerable amount of medical data. While some of the data is reviewed with the patient during their exam, most of it is analyzed over six weeks. After the data from all sources is analyzed in concert, Health Nucleus experts work with patients to develop specific action plans to improve their health. 

Health Nucleus hopes to expand to a total of ten clinics shortly. Each clinic will utilize the same intensive exam and data collection process, producing a bespoke plan for each patient. As patient volume increases, Health Nucleus hopes to expand on the accuracy and effectiveness of its treatment system by using AI models to dissect the data. The use of machine learning and AI has the potential to drastically reduce the cost of applying effective treatments using the Health Nucleus method.
