This 11-Year-Old Graduate is Planning to Crack the Anti-Aging Equation
August 16, 2021
- Laurent Simons is an 11-year-old graduate with a degree in quantum physics who is now looking to discover the key to immortality.
- He plans to do this by advancing biotechnology to a state whereby we will be able to replace any worn-out body parts with advanced mechanical parts.
- He plans to dedicate his life and energy to ensuring this level of technology is realized so that humanity can finally solve the aging crisis.
At only 11 years of age, Laurent Simons has done what many adults would have considered impossible in their lifetime. He has graduated from the University of Antwerp with a distinction in quantum physics. This automatically makes him the youngest physicist graduate in history. And yet, this young genius has his sights set on another amazing challenge!
Hailing from the truffle-rich lands of Belgium, Simons is now planning to study in the United Kingdom, Israel, and the United States to discover what might be the fountain of youth. And he plans to do this through his marked interest in biotechnology.
Yes, at only 11, Simons had made it his life goal to become immortal. He is looking to create the pioneering technology that will give humans the ability to live forever. In fact, the young energetic kid has already begun giving insightful lectures on the subject with the goal of rallying support for his life-long dream.
What’s even more impressive is that the 11-year-old genius recently completed his Physics course in just under one year—a course that usually takes an adult three years to graduate. But apart from his life-long dream to discover immortality, Simons is also looking at a Master’s program this summer and planning to get a PhD at the same time.
Simons has insisted that he wants to discover everything about quantum physics and classical mechanics with the goal of eliminating the curse of aging. His objective is to engineer advanced mechanical parts that will be used to replace our ailing body parts.
Simons—who initially studied at UGent—has also received credits from Eindhoven University. However, he dropped out of the institution due to disagreements with the faculty from the fact that his parents wanted him to be the first university graduate under the age of 10 years. But the university insisted that he had to do several more exams before he could become eligible for graduation.
Nevertheless, Simons’s journey is exciting to watch, and it seems as if he is determined to finally discover the fountain of youth. Could he be the key to humanity’s lifelong question of immortality? Well, we’ll have to wait and see
